PRIVACY POLICY:

At SoS Online Bookstore, we respect your privacy and, in keeping with that, we will never share your personal information and/or email address with any third parties except our shipping agent and our payment processor, Google Checkout, when you make a purchase.

ITEM CONDITION:

Most of our books are USED although we do, at times, have New books when we find a good deal. We try to accurately describe all items that we offer for sale and pride ourselves on giving complete details of each item's condition. Our customers are often pleasantly surprised to find a book's condition is better than they expected because we mention even the smallest flaws. PAYMENT:

Credit card and debit card payments are securely accepted through Google Checkout, an online payment service. Google * SoS Bookstore will appear on your credit card statement when you make a purchase in our store. You may also pay us with a USPS (United States Postal Service) Money Order available at any post office. Due to the high rate of counterfeit money orders from other sources, we ask that you only use USPS Money Orders, which are the safest for both buyers and merchants.

SHIPPING:

Orders received Monday-Friday will generally be shipped within 48 hours. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will generally be shipped on Monday. Exceptions are holidays: shipping will be on the next business day. Our shipping agent is the United States Postal Service (USPS). Unless otherwise stated on a product page, we ship all books, within the U.S., via Media Mail which has a slightly longer delivery time but is a less expensive shipping method than Priority or Parcel Post and saves you money.

We will combine shipping on multiple purchases. When you buy more than one book, shipping cost will be the rate for the heaviest book plus $1.00 for each additional book.

Hardcover books and large softcover books will be shipped in a box to better protect the spine and corners from damage during shipping. Small softcover books will be shipped in a well-padded envelope.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY:

All items are in stock. Order cancellation is unlikely but we reserve the right to cancel an order should it become necessary due to reasons such as loss or damage to the product before shipping, etc. You will be notified by email if an order must be cancelled.

RETURN POLICY:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund within 15 days of the purchase date. The item must be returned in the condition it was received.The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless we shipped the wrong item.
